Apple iPad mini 3 - Video Review

While the Apple iPad mini 2 mirrored the internal hardware of the iPad Air, Apple has disappointingly chosen not to follow that model for its successor. Instead the Apple iPad mini 3 brings the same hardware as its predecessor and simply includes a Touch ID scanner to its arsenal.

Last year's iPad mini 2 offered great value, but we found it hard to rationalize paying $399 for last year's hardware despite the addition of the Touch ID sensor. If you already own a iPad mini 2, its hard to justify upgrading to an iPad mini 3, and even new tablet users should likely consider the Apple iPad Air 2 for the best tablet experience.
