Microsoft Lumia 535 now available in the US for $169

Even though the Microsoft Lumia 535 has not been officially released in the US, it can be purchased in the country through online retailers like Expansys. The device has been priced at $169.99, which is a reasonable cost, but slightly higher than the $149 asking price in India.

Expansys USA is offering the dual SIM variant of the Lumia 535 only in white, orange and green, which means you are out of luck if you were hoping for the black and blue versions. On the software side, you get Windows Phone 8.1 combined with the latest Lumia Denim update.

The Lumia 535 was first announced early this month as the first Windows Phone from Microsoft Mobile. It features a 5 inch display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 1905 mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM.
