HTC Desire 620 officially announced, coming to Asia in December

The HTC Desire 620 has been officially announced it Taiwan. The handset is available in two versions – One featuring LTE connectivity and a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, and the other without LTE which is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor.

Besides the different chipsets, both variants of the device offer the same hardware, including a 5 inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, dual-SIM, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera and a 2100 mAh battery. On the software side you get Android 4.4 KitKat overlain with the HTC Sense 6 user interface.

The Desire 620 is expected to go on sale in Taiwan on December 1, while the Desire 620G should be released in mid-December. The LTE model costs $225 (6,990 TWD), while the MediaTek one will be cheaper: $160 (4,990 TWD). HTC hasn’t announced anything regarding international availability of the handset, but we’ll let you when we have more details on this.
