HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II

The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II was officially unveiled by the company this week, as the successor to the original HP Slate 6 VoiceTab. Unfortunately, the newer model isn't a significant upgrade over its predecessor, so its better suited for new customers.

The Slate 6 VoiceTab II features a 6 inch IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, 3G connectivity with Dual-SIM voice calling, a 3000mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core Marvell processor with 1GB of RAM. Other than a few minor upgrades on the camera side, the new Slate 6 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat (while the original came with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean).

The Slate 6 VoiceTab II is currently only available in the Indian market for 15,999 INR ($259). HP hasn’t revealed any information on global availability at this time.
