Amazon Fire Phone for $199

When the Amazon Fire Phone was first launched, it felt somewhat overpriced at $650, despite its list of novel features. Now Amazon has decided to slash it price in a ditch attempt to move its unsold inventory, bringing the price of the phone down to a respectable $199.

The Fire Phone comes with decent hardware, including a 4.7 inch 720p HD touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera, a 2.1MP front camera and a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.

The device is ideal for those invested in Amazon's ecosystem, as it comes with 1 year of Amazon Prime (a $99 value) for free. The underlying platform has been heavily customized by Amazon's own Fire OS with a unique Dynamic Perspective sensor system for its interface. Besides a lineup of Amazon's apps and services, the Fire Phone also features Firefly, which recognizes over a 100 million objects - from songs, through dishwasher soaps, to phone numbers on a poster, and find them at the lowest price, or throw more info about them at you.
