Google Docs for iOS updated (1.1.0) with Microsoft Word support

Google Docs for iOS has been updated to version 1.1.0 which adds support for opening, editing, and exporting Microsoft Word files (.docx/.doc). Google Docs lets you create, edit and collaborate with others on documents from your iPod, iPhone or iPad.

These are definitely useful enhancements for Google's productivity suite, and will allow it to better compete with Microsoft Office for iOS.
