With Android and iOS dominating the smartphone space, we rarely see Windows Phone get an exclusive app. Fortunately Joybits, the popular developers behind the Doodle God franchise, has released Doodle God: Planet as an exclusive for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices.

Doodle Planet uses the same familiar gameplay mechanics and interface as of other Doodle God games, you have to mix and match different elements to create an entire universe. In game you start with the four basic elements, fire, earth, wind and air to create animals, tools, planes, pyramids and many more.

While the game is free to download, it does have in-app purchases to enhance your gameplay. However you should note that the app is not classified as a unified Windows app, which means you may have to make in-app purchases separately on Windows and Windows Phone.
