Much like the BlackBerry Q10 the Q5 features the classic BlackBerry keyboard coupled with a  touch screen for added functionality. The Q5 additionally features 8GB of internal storage with can be expanded through microSD, a 2180mAh battery and is powered by the 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

The handset weighs in at just over 4 ounces with a sturdy feel to it. Its a little longer than the Q10 but fits comfortably in the hand.

The Q5 runs BlackBerry 10 OS just like the Q10 and the BlackBerry Z10. You get the exact experience with nothing left out for the users. The handset runs smoothly without any lag during navigating around the OS, Hub or in and out of the apps.
