Hackulous shuts down Installous and other services

Installous has been one of the most popular ways for users to download App Store apps for free and probably the most common reasons for jailbreaking your iOS device. Sadly the Hackulous Team have announced that they will be shutting down their service which means you will no longer have access to pirated apps.

This is good news for developers who would expect users would now choose to download their apps directly from the Apple App Store instead of through pirated sources.

Its surprising that Hackulous decided to shut down their services so suddenly, Especially since the developers recently released an update to their Installous app. The reason could be due to immense pressure from Apple who have been tracking down and blocking piracy.

Current Installous users would be greatly disappointed by this as the tool has been the easiest method of installing free apps on your iOS devices. While there are other ways in which you can download and install pirated apps on your device, there is no easier or safer method than through the Hackulous tools.
