With the latest update Google has eliminated some of the annoying bugs in the Google Voice app, one being that your voice-mails don't stop right after you hit the play button and play on the first tap. The other the inability to call without a data connection. On the downside this only works for numbers which have already been dialled. New numbers still require a data connection.
