Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e officially announced

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab S5e, its newest top-tier tablet with a sleek design and powerful features. Samsung has packaged this tablet into an extremely slim 5.5mm and it weighs only 400 grams, making it lighter than the 9.7-inch iPad and the 11-inch iPad Pro.

You are presented with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution surrounded by thin bezels around the device. The tablet is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and has 6GB of RAM. We don't expect this to be a powerful chipset, but it should be more than capable of handling day to day tasks like web browsing, light gaming, and multimedia consumption. Samsung has outfitted the Galaxy Tab S5e with a 7,040 mAh battery which the company promises will a respectable 14.5 hours of battery life.

To "enhance" your entertainment, the tablet comes with four speakers designed to perfectly adapt to both portrait and landscape mode usage, as well as premium AKG sound technology and Dolby Atmos enhancements. You can easily transform the Galaxy Tab S5e to suit your productivity needs by attaching a separately sold keyboard and with Samsung DeX support.

Release and Availability

The Galaxy Tab S5e will start at $399.99 for its base model, which comes with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. The tablet is expected to go on sale around the Q2 of 2019 (by April).
