Compatibility Samsung, other Android: Android 5.0 or higher, RAM 1.5GB above
iPhone: iPhone 5 and above, iOS 9.0 or above

Whichever one you chose, you have a modest processor tacking your workouts and displaying notifications from your compatible Android or iPhone on the small AMOLED display. The Galaxy Fit lets you select from one of the 90 different activities to track using the Samsung Health app or auto-detect and track a few popular types of workouts like running, rowing, biking or walking. Both wearables are water-resistant up to 5 meters deep, also meeting MIL-STD 810G standards for top-notch durability.

Samsung has even included a heart rate monitor with the Galaxy Fit, something usually reserved for higher priced wearables. you even get features like "enhanced sleep analysis" and "smart stress management" which sets the Galaxy Fit apart from other affordable wearables.

Because of the way they are designed, the batteries on these fitness trackers can last for several days.

On the software side, the interface is described as "simple and intuitive", with alarms, weather information, and calendar events synced to your wearable's widget directly from your phone without you having to ever reach for your pocket.

Release and Availability

While we know these fitness trackers are meant to be affordable, Samsung has still to reveal an official price for either one. We expect it would be in the $100 range.
