Samsung Galaxy A10 officially announced

After announcing the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 earlier this week at MWC 2019, Samsung has unveiled yet another member of the Galaxy A Series named the Galaxy A10.

The Galaxy A10 features an LCD Infinity-V display that includes a small notch above the display and a thick bezel at the bottom. The 6.2-inch display has a 1520 x 720 pixel (HD+) resolution.

The back of the device is made of plastic and hosts a single rear camera to suit is budget friendly nature. Completing the external setup is a micro-USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a rear-facing speaker.

Cameras

The rear camera has a 13-megapixel resolution and an f/1.9 aperture with support for features like Panorama, Video and a dedicated Low Light mode for last night photography. The camera on the front of the device is a 5-megapixel sensor.

Hardware

The Galaxy A10 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884 chipset and has 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage with the option of expanding it by an additional 512GB of microSD. Samsung has outfitted the Galaxy A10 with a 3400mAh battery.

Software

The Galaxy A10 will ship with Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung's One UI overlay on top.

Release and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A10 will be available to consumers around mid-March, with initial availability being limited to Indian markets. This will be followed by European markets receiving access to the device later on in the quarter. It is unlikely that this budget-friendly Samsung device will be marketed in the United States.

The Galaxy A10 will be available in black, blue and red and will be priced at ₹8490 in India and €105 in Europe (around $120).
