GMail for Android updated with new interface

Gmail for Android has been updated today with Google's new Material Design. You can download the latest version directly on your Android device through the Google Play Store to experience the new features.

Once you have updated to the latest version you will be presented with a message that reads "Your favorite email has a fresh new look." You will also be presented with three options - Default, Comfortable, and Compact.

Once you have made your selection, you will the same, less, or more email based on your need. You can always change the setting by going into the app's general settings page. The update also allows you to quickly switch between your email accounts by tapping the icon on the top right side of the app. You also can manage your Google Account, or add another Gmail account from that menu.
