OnePlus 6T receives OxygenOS 9.0.7 update with audio and camera improvements

The OnePlus 6T is receiving the OxygenOS 9.0.7 update, which brings several improvements and optimizations to the company's newest flagship, including audio and camera improvements.

Previously, the Oxygen OS equalizer, known as Audio Tuner did not support wireless Bluetooth headphones. You could only use it with wired headphones through the USB-C to 3.5mm dongle. Fortunately, the update fixes this, while introducing improvements to slow-motion video capture, battery life and more.

The full changelog for OxygenOS 9.0.7 on the OnePlus 6T is as follows:

System
  • Improved Bluetooth stability for better connectivity
  • Optimized stability for Wi-Fi connection
  • Optimized standby power consumption
  • Fixed display issues for lock screen wallpaper
  • General bug fixes and improvements

Camera
  • Improved performance for slow-motion videos

Earphone
  • Audio tuner for Bluetooth earphones

OnePlus has stated that the update will be rolled out in stages. Initially, it will be sent out to a limited number of users today and will be pushed out to a wider user base in a few days, once the company ensures there are no critical issues on board. Once you receive the OTA (over-the-air) update notification, make sure your battery is fully charged, and that you are connected to WiFi before downloading and installing the update.
