The OnePlus 6T is receiving a software update according to TMoNews which brings several improvements to the device including enhancements to the camera app, in-display fingerprint scanner, and audio quality.

OnePlus 6T for T-Mobile receives software update
The fingerprint scanner on the OnePlus 6T resides under its display as you know, and as customers continue to use the handset, OnePlus uses advanced algorithms to improve the accuracy of the fingerprint scanner over time. The update looks to make this process better.

Additionally, the update optimizes Face Unlock, improves the speed of live wallpapers, and refines the hidden Wi-Fi AP login UI. It also fixes an issue with Play Store download notifications and improves the quality of audio on the phone.

The update is reportedly 110.2MB in size and is being pushed out OTA to all T-Mobile OnePlus 6T users over the next few days. If you haven't received the update notification, you can try manually checking for the update under Settings > System > System update > Check for update.

Before you install the update on your handset, make sure your battery is fully charged and that you are connected to a strong Wi-Fi connection.

The OnePlus 6T features a 6.4-inch display, 128GB of internal storage, dual (16MP+20MP) rear cameras, a 20MP front camera, in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3700mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 8GB of RAM.
