Microsoft Surface Pro 6 officially announced

Microsoft Surface Pro 6 officially announced

The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is now official, featuring significant hardware upgrades while retaining the familiar design from the previous generation.

In terms of design, little has changed on the Surface Pro 6. You get the trademark aluminum casing with the hinge and kickstand which lets you transform the device between a tablet and laptop. Microsoft has updated the 12.3-inch PixelSense display, which now offers the highest level of contrast ever seen on a Surface Pro tablet. Microsoft has also includes an 8-megapixel autofocus camera on the rear, and a 5MP camera in front which can be used for video chatting and Windows Hello logins.

Microsoft Surface Pro 6

The new Surface Pro now supports processors with up to four cores which means more power for customers. Microsoft has introduced improved cooling and promises performance gains of up to 67% over the previous model and battery life of up to 13.5 hours. The base model starts with Intel's eighth generation Core i5 processors, 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, while customers can configure their Surface Pro 6 with up to Intel Core i7 with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
