After releasing the Android Pie update as an open beta earlier this month, the final version of Android 9 Pie is now rolling out to the OnePlus 6. After being part of the Android Developer Preview Program, OnePlus has managed to bring the new version of Android just a month and a half after Google released it to its Pixel phones, which is an amazing feat.
Android 9 Pie on the OnePlus 6 includes several new features and improvements. The full official changelog can be found below:

The update will be rolled out in stages, with a small number of users receiving it today and a massive roll-out scheduled for the next few days. You should receive a notification when the update is available for your device, but you can also try manually updating your OnePlus 6 under Settings > System Updates.
Once you receive the update notification, make sure your battery is fully charged and that you are connected to Wi-Fi before initiating the download.
