LG G5 receives Android Oreo update in Korea

The LG G5 is now receiving the Android Oreo software update, starting with its homeland of Korea. Other regions are likely to get the update in the coming weeks.

The LG G5 features a 5.3 inch display, 32GB of internal storage, dual (16MP+8MP) rear cameras, an 8MP front camera, a 2800mAh battery and a Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM.

Currently the Oreo update is available for two Korea-exclusive models (F700S and F700K) and its being pushed out to handsets over-the-air. The update is around 1.7GB in size, and brings all the usual performance improvements, stability enhancements, multitasking revisions, and security refinements you would come to expect from Android Oreo.
