Microsoft Movies & TV joins Movies Anywhere

Microsoft has announced that it will joining the Movies Anywhere service, which means that customers who purchased there movies on Xbox or Windows 10 can now watch it across all platforms linked to their Movies Anywhere accounts.

Movies Anywhere links services like iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, FandangoNow and most recently Microsoft Movies & TV to a single platform. The service shares purchases across all platforms allowing you to buy movies off one service and enjoy it on another.

So for example, if Google Play is offering a sale on a movie you'd like to watch, you can download it off Google Play and watch it on your Xbox or through iTunes on your Apple TV.

Movies Anywhere supports films from Disney, Sony, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal, and Warner Bros. Movies from non-participating studios such as Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM are not eligible and will not migrate to your Movies Anywhere library.
