Xiaomi Mi Max 3 officially announced

Meet the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, an Android smartphone with a massive 6.99 inch display. While 6 inch smartphones are quickly becoming common in as users tend to lean towards larger displays, we are eager to see if the market is ready to venture into the 7 inch territory.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 vs iPhone
With a 7 inch smartphone we are looking at a device which could replace your tablet. The large smartphone packs an equally impressive 5500mAh battery which should easily take you through a weekend on a single charge. The dimensions are quite large measuring 6.94 x 3.44 x 0.31 in (176.15 x 87.4 x 7.99 mm) and weighing 7.80 oz (221 g).

In terms of hardware, the manufacturer has been somewhat frugal, using a 1080p panel for the massive display and powering the device with a Snapdragon 636 chipset.  While this isnt the most powerful hardware, it should complement the longer battery life.

The clear advantage of purchasing a Mi Max 3 comes from its price. The base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage costs $250/€220 in China, while the 128GB model (with 6GB of RAM) costs around $300. The device is available in Black, Champagne Gold, and Blue.
