Apple releases iOS 12 Public Beta 4

Apple has released the fourth public beta of iOS 12, just a day after iOS 12 beta 5 was released to developers. Users who have signed up for Apple's public beta program will be able to test the pre-release versions of the upcoming updates, as the company gets closer to the final release of its mobile OS in a couple of months.

While beta builds of Apple's operating systems are not recommended for day to day use, anyone who has an extra iPhone or iPad around can easily install and test these releases. You can follow our guide on how to How to install iOS 12 public beta on your iPhone or iPad if you need help getting started.

Those already participating in the public beta can install the update by heading to Settings > General > Software Update.

The update focuses on several bug fixes, while improving overall performance and adding some functionality. As it has been common with Apple releases, we expect the Public Beta 4 has the same changelog as the recently released iOS 12 Beta 5 for developers.
