Which devices will support iOS 12

Apple unveiled iOS 12 during their WWDC keynote, and revealed that their newest mobile OS update will be made available to all supported iPhones and iPads. Apple's goal here was to improve on iOS 11, which meant that all devices that receives iOS 11 were eligible to receive iOS 12 when it was officially released.

Until now, Apple's upgrade strategy has been to support an iOS device for five years after its release with software updates. With the release of iOS 11, the iPhone 5 was retired from Apple's supported device list. However, this year we see the iPhone 5s from 2013 survive the cutting board and in line for the newest update.
