Verizon launches lower priced carrier named Visible; offers unlimited talk, text and data for $40 per month

Verizon launches lower priced carrier named Visible

Earlier this year, Verizon quietly created a new carrier named Visible. A service on Verizon's own 4G LTE network which charges $40 a month for unlimited talk, text and data in the U.S. In order to subscribe, you will need an invite to Visible's early access program from an existing subscriber. Once you have received an invitation, you will have to download the app (currently only for iOS users on the App Store), fill in the necessary personal information, and Verizon (Visible) will send you a SIM card the very next day. Slip the card into your phone and activate the service. There is no contract to sign.

Data Speeds on Visible top off at 5 Mbps, with most videos streaming at 480p resolution. Since there is no data consumption cap, you wont have to deal with inconveniences like throttling. Payments can be made using PayPal or Venmo. Since it requires the app in order to work, Visible is currently restricted to work with unlocked iPhone models only.

While Verizon appears to be undercutting its own prices with Visible, it seems that the service is aimed at bringing back some of the customers Verizon has lost in the past quarter to its aggressive competitors. With these lower prices, and the assurance of Verizon's powerful network, the company is hoping to give its customers a more affordable offering to consider.

If you already have an Invite Code to Visible, follow the link below to sign up and get started.
