Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 receives Android 8.0 Oreo Update

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is now receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo software update. Users in the United Kingdom will the be among the first to start seeing the update on their tablets. Both the Wi-Fi (SM-T820) and the LTE (SM-T825) are reportedly receiving the update.

The update will bring all the new features and improvements you would expect from Android 8.0 Oreo, including the Samsung Experience 9.0. Additionally you will also be receiving a security patch which Samsung sent out to its devices in April along with Dolby Atmos support.

It is still not clear, when exactly Samsung is expected to rollout this update to customers in the United States, or other European regions. However, given that the rollout has kicked off, we shouldn't have to wait long for the update to arrive.

Given that these updates are usually quite large, it is recommended that you clear up enough storage space on your tablets in anticipation of its release
