Google Nexus 5X now on sale

Starting today, customers will be able to purchase the Nexus 5X at the Google Store, as well as at select carriers and stores in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, India, Korea, and Japan.

The new Nexus 5X features a 5.2 inch display and comes as the successor to the popular Nexus 5. It offers a Snapdragon 808 processor upgrade, along with an updated 12 megapixel rear sensor that shows promising performance in low light, as well as day light. The Nexus 5X also features the new USB-C port and the extremely fast Nexus Imprint fingerprint scanner.

The handset also offers Google's newest version of its mobile operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Prices for the Nexus 5X in the United States are set at the quite affordable:
  • 16GB model - $380
  • 32GB model - $430
In Europe and other parts of the world, though, prices are much higher.

LG has officially said it plans to bring the Nexus 5X to more markets in Europe, Asia, and Latin America "in the weeks to come."
