Oppo Mirror 5s officially announced

The official Oppo Mirror 5s was officially announced today in Taiwan, running Color OS 2.1 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset is set to be released in various markets starting later this month.

The Oppo Mirror 5s has a crystal-like pattern on the back plate, but it's not as fragile as it may appear at first glance, thanks to the fact that it's built around a metal frame.

Measuring 143.4 x 71.2 x 7.65 mm and weighing 160 grams, the new Oppo handset sports a 5 inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5MP front camera, dual SIM support, LTE connectivity, a 2420 mAh battery and a 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM.

At the moment, the price of the Oppo Mirror 5s is not known, but we assume it's not a high one anyway. While Oppo is selling some of its smartphones around the world, it's not clear if the Mirror 5s will be available globally.
