The latest iPod touch is a sixth-genetaion device which ships with an Apple 64-bit A8 processor, same that of iPhone 6, and comes in five stunning colors; space gray, blue, gold, pink and silver. While the hardware is visually similar to the previous-generation model, it is the internals that have changed big time. iPod touch 6 also features improved 8-megapixel iSight camera mounted on the rear and comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB variants in any of the five colors, along with the addition of a charitable (PRODUCT)RED option. The 4-inch display has the usual expected multi-touch IPS technology. In addition to bundling in the A8 chip, Apple also included an M8 motion coprocessor for activity tracking. Of course, Apple Music is also available from within the native Music app on the device.

The price range of the new iPod touch is as follows:
  • 16GB iPod touch for $199
  • 32GB iPod touch for $249
  • 64GB iPod touch for $299
  • 128GB iPod touch $399

Weighing in at just 31-grams, the new nano will measure up at 76.5 x 39.6 x 5.4mm and comes with a 2.5-inch display with multi-touch capabilities. Wireless capabilities include Bluetooth 4.0 and Nike+ support. The iPod nano may not have the access to Apple Music that the iPod touch or iPhone has, but it does serve up integrated FM radio, the ability to watch TV shows and videos on the display, as well as a fantastic DJ style feature that will create a playlist from any of your favorite playing songs. The new iPod nano starts at just $149.

This may come as a surprise to some but Apple has also slightly refreshed its iPod shuffle music player. The new iPod shuffle is offered in the same five colors, including gold, as the iPod nano and touch and comes with approximately fifteen hours of continuous battery life. The fantastic VoiceOver support within the shuffle can give instant audible feedback on the artists and songs that are playing in 29 different languages. Weighing in at just 12.5 grams the new shuffle is as portable and wearable as it is flexible. The new iPod shuffle starts at just $49.

The new Apple iPod lineup will be available to order immediately from the company’s online and retail stores.
