Microsoft Lumia 735 now available on Verizon for $79.99 on-contract

Verizon Wireless in the United States is offering the budget friendly Microsoft Lumia 735 with Windows Phone 8.1 for $79.99 with a new two-year contract or $192 outright.

The Lumia 735 features a 4.7 inch HD display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 6.7MP rear camera, a 5MP wide angle front camera, a 2200mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

With Windows Phone 8.1 you get access to the digital assistant Cortana, Action Center to manage your notifications, the Swype style Word Flow keyboard, and more. It will also be upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile too when its released later this year.

Verizon is currently offering the black color variant of the Lumia 735 handset. The handset comes also with wireless charging capability right out of the box and a variety of wireless charging back covers will also be available for purchase ($24.99) – in orange, green, white, red, and cyan.
