YU Yuphoria officially announced in India; Flash Sale scheduled on May 28

The budget friendly Yu Yuphoria has been officially announced in India, and those who are interested in the device can register at Amazon for a flash sale set to take place on May 28th at 2PM Indian time. The device is priced at INR 6,999 ($109 USD).

Yu is a subsidiary of India's own Micromax, and the Yuphoria is the second handset under the Yu brand name. The Yu Yuphoria features a 5 inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 2230mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity and a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 graphics and 2GB of RAM. The handset runs Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
