Samsung announces new, faster SD and microSD cards

Samsung is known for making several products, including flash storage cards. The company has just announced new SD and microSD cards in the PRO Plus and EVO Plus series, which offer increased read and write speeds.

The PRO Plus cards are available in 32GB and 64GB sizes and are capable of read/write speeds of 95MB/s and 90 MB/s. The new EVO Plus cards which are available from 32GB up to 128GB, are a little slower with top read/write speeds of 80MB/s.

The microSD form factors of both products will be available this month for use in phones not called Galaxy S6. The SD card versions will be out later, but Samsung isn't saying when.
