HTC One M8s officially announced

While the HTC One M9 is starting to arrive in stores, HTC has unveiled the brand new HTC One M8s, which looks practically identical to last year's HTC One M8, but comes with a brand new camera, a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor and a slightly larger battery.

The HTC One M8s features a 5 inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, dual 13MP rear cameras, a 5MP front camera for video calls, a 2840mAh battery, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (four Cortex A53 clocked at 1.7GHz, four Cortex A53 clocked at 1GHz) processor with 2GB of RAM.

While the HTC One M9 has only one rear camera, it is interesting to see HTC has retained the dual camera setup on the One M8s for bokeh camera effects. The handset will take its place in the upper mid-range section as a more affordable option for customers.

the HTC One M8s is slated to arrive in Europe in the near future with an off contract price of £379.99 in the UK. Currently there’s no word on availability in other markets, though its expected to be offered in the US.
