Amazon Prime Instant Video for Android updated (2.0.45.1010)Amazon Prime Instant Video for Android has been updated to version 2.0.45.1010 which finally adds support for Android tablets. Amazon initially didn't seem to want to offer its video streaming service to Android users, and only offered it on Fire and iOS devices. The company then released Amazon Prime Instant Video for Android, but only offered it for phones, and required the user to install the standard Amazon app and the Amazon Appstore before being able to install the video service

Finally those with Android tablets like the Nexus 7 can download and install Amazon Prime Instant Video. You still have to go through the website to watch videos, but at least it works
