Verizon announces availability of Nexus 6Verizon has finally announced that it will be offering the Motorola built, Google Nexus 6 on its network. You will be able to order the flagship Android smartphone starting March 12 online and March 19 in stores. The smartphone will be $249.99 with new two-year activation or $27.08 per month for 24 months with Verizon Edge.

The Google Nexus 6 is an Android Lollipop smartphone, which features a 5.9 inch Quad HD touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera with OIS, a 2MP front camera, a 3200 mAh battery and a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM.

Verizon is sweetening the deal for customers who purchase the Nexus 6 before March 31, 2015 by offering a 6-month subscription to Google Play Music All Access for free ($9.99 a month after trial). That means you can store the songs you own and also stream from a library of more than 30 million titles.

The Nexus 6 also launches with Advanced Calling 1.0 (VoLTE) capabilities, letting you enjoy HD Voice Calling to other compatible Verizon smartphones. Activating this feature also enables simultaneous voice and data use, so you can talk and surf the web at the same time.
