Conan's Team Coco unveils the Apple Pocketwatch

Modern wearable devices don't offer a lot of value for the $300 they cost, which is likely why Apple chose to market their first smartwatch as a luxury accessory. Consumers are generally more likely to spend money on a piece of jewellery than they would spend on purchasing new tech just to be among the first adopters.

While the most affordable Apple Watch Sport is priced at $350, which is in line with most other wearables in the market, you have to be willing to spend at least a $150 more to have something more stylish.
