Sony Xperia M4 Aqua officially announced

Sony Xperia M4 Aqua

The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua was officially announced at the MWC 2015. This waterproof Android smartphone from Sony, represents the new and modern, 2015 mid-ranger by one of the best accepted global brands. In fact, the Xperia M4 Aqua features IP65/8 protection when immersed in water up to 5 feet (1.5-meter) for as long as 30 minutes.

The Xperia M4 Aqua features Sony's beautiful omni-balance design language and comes at a more affordable price than the Sony Xperia Z3 flagship. The metal glass combination has been replaced with a plastic exterior and the contents have been wrapped into a sleek lightweight package, tipping the scales at just 136 grams (4.8 oz). Protective covers make sure that your device stays protected under water, allowing you to take pictures underwater, as long as you dont go deeper than 5 feet.

This Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone features a 5 inch 720p HD display, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, and a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM.

Sony has equipped the Xperia M4 Aqua with a 13-megapixel camera with Superior Auto Mode that we've seen on the Xperia Z series. The Superior Auto feature  allows you to take great pictures without having to deal with any manual controls: just point and shoot. With the fast, f/2.0 lens combined with maximum ISO sensitivity boosted to 3200, the Xperia M4 Aqua also performs very well in low-lit conditions. Sony has also outfitted a 5 megapixel camera on the front of the device for better, higher-res selfies.
