Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (Wi-Fi) receives Android 5.0.2 update

Samsung is rolling out the Android Lollipop update in the form of Android 5.0.2 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet. Currently on the Wi-Fi variant is receiving the update which is reportedly around 930MB in size. Users are advised to download the update over a reliable Wi-Fi connection and to ensure their batteries are appropriately (at least 50%) charged before installing the update.

The update is first rolling out to users in France, but owners in other areas like the U.S. India, Romania, Poland and Canada are also reportedly receiving the update. The Android 5.0.2 update will also allow users to mute their tablets by moving the "Sound" slider all the way down on Quick Settings.

The update will be pushed out OTA (over-the-air) and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. If you have not receives a notification, you can try manually checking for the update by heading to Menu > Settings > About device > Software update > Update on the device. You can also try connecting your tablet to your computer and downloading the update using Samsung Kies.
