The Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge were announced earlier today, bringing several hardware improvements, including an updated 16MP rear camera. The camera has a F1.9 aperture size, which should result better light capturing, and shallower depth of field for better focus options and effects.
Other camera features include OIS, Selective focus, HDR, and 4K video capture. Samsung is also including a quick access feature to the camera, allowing you to access it by double clicking the home button. The beefy hardware allows the camera to load in just 0.7 seconds, according to Samsung.
Even the front camera has been greatly improved by Samsung. The 5 megapixel sensor also has a F1.9 aperture size, and Samsung promises great performance in low-light conditions.
