Microsoft Lumia 435 launches in Ireland

The Microsoft Lumia 435 has launched in Ireland, through Tesco Mobile, priced at €79.99  (around $84). The affordable smartphone comes with Windows Phone 8.1 (Update 1) along with Lumia Denim preinstalled and is expected to receive an update to Windows 10 later this year.

The Lumia 435 features a 4.0 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 2MP rear camera, a secondary camera for video calls, optional dual-SIM, a 1560mAh battery and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with Adreno 302 graphics and 1GB of RAM.

Interestingly, Carphone Warehouse is planning to offer the handset for just £25 ( around €35 / $37 ) which is a much more decent asking price for this handset. The handset is also expected to head to the US, but exact pricing and availability details have not been revealed.
