HTC sending out invitations for event in China

HTC is sending out invitations for an event which will take place in China, and will likely involve the introduction of the HTC One E9. The dates listed on the invites show that whatever HTC is inviting the media to, it will run from March 11th through March 17th.

The Taiwan based smartphone manufacturer may also be planning to unveil a Chinese version of Sense, or the the HTC One M9 Plus.

The HTC One E9 is expected to feature a 5.5 inch display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 20MP rear camera, a 4MP UltraPixel front camera, a 3000mAh battery and a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT-6795 processor with PowerVR G6200 graphics and 3GB of RAM. On the software front you get Android 5.0 is pre-installed with HTC's Sense 7.0 UI.

The HTC One E9 is speculated to cost just $320 in China, which is a decent asking price for such a well spec'd device. We will be keeping an eye on the event, and will update you as soon as we hear more about HTC has planned for China.
