HTC One E9+ officially announced with 5.5 inch Quad HD display and MediaTek processor

HTC One E9+

HTC has officially unveiled the HTC One E9+ for Asian markets. This Android smartphone offers high end hardware but comes with a plastic finish similar to the HTC Desire 816, instead of the all-aluminum unibody design found on the HTC One M9.

Still the new entrant trumps the current flagship with its display, which is 5.5 inches in size with a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixel) resolution. You get 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 20MP rear camera, a 4MP UltraPixel front camera and a 2800mAh battery. The handset is powered by the most powerful chip in MediaTek’s lineup - the MT6795M which is coupled with 3GB of RAM.

HTC may also be planning to launch a regular HTC One E9 which will feature a 5.5 inch display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, a 16MP camera and have 2GB of RAM.
