Gameloft halts development of Despicable Me: Minion Rush for Windows platform

Despicable Me: Minion Rush for Windows discontinued

Gameloft has decided to halt development of Despicable Me: Minion Rush for the Windows platform. This means the developer will no longer update the game for Windows and Windows Phone, and will no longer provide support for either platform.

The popular endless runner was launched for Windows and Windows Phone back in December 2013. Gameloft has since brought many upgrades to both platforms bringing the game in line with Android and iOS, but have since decided to cease supporting the Windows platform. As a parting gift, the developers are giving fans a special gift that can be found within the game. While future updates will not be offered, gamers can still continue playing Despicable Me: Minion Rush on their Windows devices.
