Buy the unlocked HTC One M9 directly from HTC for $649

As promised, the HTC One M9 pre-orders have gone live and you can now purchase either the unlocked or developer edition of the HTC One M9 directly from HTC for $649. The unlocked and developer edition One M9 should work on just about any GSM/LTE carrier, but HTC hasn't listed the specific bands for this device anywhere I can see. The only difference between the developer and unlocked devices should be the unlocked bootloader on the former.

The HTC One M9 features a 5.0 inch 1080p HD display, 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 20MP rear camera, a 4MP UltraPixel front camera, and an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM.

You've got your choice of gunmetal gray or two-tone silver/gold phones right now. There is also an all-gold unlocked phone, but it is currently not available for purchase. HTC says the phones will ship in 3-8 business days if you order now. There is also 0% interest financing available with a credit check, and the device will be eligible for the company's new Uh-Oh protection.
