The BlackBerry Leap has finally been made official, featuring a 5 inch HD display, no physical QWERTY keyboard and the promise of a 25 hour battery life.
Other specs include 16GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, a secondary camera for video calls and a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor with 2GB of RAM. The highlight on this device is clearly its battery life, which comes courtesy of its 2800mAh battery. The handset is also quite thick in the modern landscape, measuring 9.5mm of thickness and having a weight of 170g.
The BlackBerry Leap runs on BlackBerry OS 10.3.1, which brings all the latest features from the BlackBerry platform, with a strong focus on security. You also get the BlackBerry Assistant, BlackBerry Hub, the Amazon Appstore, and the ability to install Android applications.
