While the last generation Moto G was accompanied by an LTE companion, many were disappointed that the Moto G (2014) was released in only a 3G variant. Fortunately Motorola has finally unveiled an LTE model, which also boasts a few interesting hardware differences under its hood.
Besides adding LTE connectivity, Motorola has also included a bigger battery on the new model, which now comes with a 2390mAh unit (compared to the 2070mAh on the 3G model). Despite the larger battery, the new phone has retained its 11mm thick waistline, but it has gained a little extra weight (155gr vs 149gr).
Additionally the LTE model is only available with 16GB of native storage, and only comes in a dual-SIM version. You also get Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, which is a nice treat for its users.
Motorola has chosen to make the Moto G LTE only available in Brazil at the time of its launch, with no word on its availability in other markets. The new Android smartphone from Motorola has been priced at R$899 (around $335)
