The Microsoft Lumia 435, which is the most affordable Windows Phone from the company to-date is now available for purchase in India from Microsoft's IndiaTimes online store for Rs.5999 (around $100). The handset is currently available in black and white, but will also eventually be sold in green and orange.
The Lumia 435 features a 4 inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded by an additional 128GB microSD, a 2MP rear camera, a 0.3MP front camera, a 1560 mAh battery, dual-SIM and a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor with Adreno 302 graphics and 1GB of RAM.
On the software side you get Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim. This means you will get all the latest features of Windows Phone, including voice-activated virtual personal assistant Cortana (depending on your region), the Word Flow swipe to type keyboard, Start Menu folders and more.
