LG introduces four new mid-range Android handsets

LG has announced four new mid-range Android smartphones, with each of the four offered in 3G and 4G LTE variants. Additionally LG is offering, a number of features from its flagship phones to this mid-range line-up, including the hand-triggered selfie timer ‘gesture shot’, and ‘glance view’ for pulling up important notifications.

The LG Joy features a 4 inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, 4GB/8GB of internal storage depending on region, a 5MP rear camera, a 0.3MP front camera, a 1900mAh battery and a 1.2GHz dual-core/quad-core processor depending on region.

The LG Leon features a 4.5 inch display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage, 8MP/5MP camera depending on region, a 1900mAh battery and a 1.2GHz / 1.3GHz quad-core processor depending on region. Power and volume buttons are located on the rear of the device.

The LG Spirit features a 4.7 inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 2100mAh battery, and a 1.2GHz / 1.3GHz quad-core processor depending on region. Power and volume buttons are located on the rear of the device.

Finally we have the LG Spirit, which features a 4.7 inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 2540mAh battery, and a 1.2GHz / 1.3GHz quad-core processor depending on region. Power and volume buttons are located on the rear of the device.

LG did not release pricing information on the four models, the new handsets will be available in selected markets starting this coming week.
