Lenovo P70 with 4000mAh battery arrives in Europe

Yesterday, the Lenovo P70 with its massive 4000mAh battery was launched in China, for a price of roughly $224. Initially, it wasn't clear if Lenovo planned to offer the handset outside of China, but its great to see that more customers will get to enjoy the touted 46 days of standby time.

Besides its huge battery, the smartphone offers mid-range specs, but it looks like Lenovo is pushing out an updated version of the P70 for the European market. You get the same 5 inch 720p display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, dual-SIM, microSD, and LTE connectivity. However the European model comes with an octa-core MediaTek processor, 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM.

On the software side, you get Android 4.4 KitKat with Lenovo's Vibe UI. But the highlight of the device is clearly its 4000mAh battery, which promises up to 46 hours of talktime and up to 46 days standby time.
