The
BlackBerry PassPort has been discounted by $100 in the US in celebration of Valentine's Day. This brings the price of the red Passport down to $599, while the black and white models will cost you $499 each. The deal is only valid through this weekend, and includes the unlocked Passport.
The BlackBerry Passport features a 4.5 inch touch display with a 1440 x 1440 pixel resolution, 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, a 3450mAh battery and a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM.
AT&T will be the only carrier in the U.S. to offer the BlackBerry Passport, and will offer the handset for $199.99 on contract, or $649.99 contract free. While the carrier has still not given a launch date, it did claim that its variant of the
Passport will be a redesigned version.
Meanwhile, those in Canada are getting $125 off if they purchase the handset.
