Lumia Camera (5.0) now available on Windows Phone Store

Microsoft has released version 5.0 of Lumia Camera for Windows Phone on the Windows Phone Store. Lumia Camera 5 is an updated version of Nokia Camera for Lumia smartphones running the Lumia Denim update. The new version brings an improved design, faster startup and stunning new features like: Moment capture, Dynamic flash, 4K video support, Auto HDR and more.

Lumia Camera for Windows Phone version 5.0 has the following new features and improvements:

• Higher video resolutions (4K, 1440p) on Lumia 930, 1520 and Icon
• Improved design with faster access to the front facing camera, Lumia Selfie, Lumia

• More manual controls for video capture. Settings like exposure and manual focus can now also be used during video capture

The new Moment Capture features offers a new way to capture the world around you, making it quicker and easier to get the perfect shot. Just long press to capture video in 4K resolution (8.3 megapixels at 24 frames per second), or in Full HD with the Lumia 830, and extract great action shots from your videos by tapping the Lumia Moments icon in the camera roll.

The Rich Capture feature lets you create better images, even in difficult conditions. Shoot first and then customize for the perfect shot — no need to adjust the settings beforehand. Rich Capture combines multiple exposures for perfect results every time. You can then fine-tune your pictures by tapping the Rich Capture icon in the camera roll.

The new Lumia Camera is available for Lumia 830, Lumia 930, Lumia Icon and Lumia 1520 as part of the Lumia Denim update.
